Talbot Road
This design solved the problems of privacy and usability. The former layout involved a 'dead' space by the house, with steep steps leading up to an exposed and featureless terrace visible from neighbouring flats.
The garden was excavated to create a useable and private terrace at ground level, flanked by a bank of limestone rocks and exotic tropical plants. The blue limestone pavers resemble tranquil waters when wet adding to the overall feel of a rainforest.
